When are women going to stop giving other women bad advice about how to get a man?

I'm sure the quote above was meant tongue-in-cheek, but misguided girlfriends (not to mention women's magazines) give this sort of "tip" all the time. Never mind that only half the men in the study found funny girls threatening. Never mind that only people in their twenties were interviewed. It's just easier to tell women that all men are insecure dolts and that the only way to snag one is to play dumb.
